Hands and Feet Foundation

Daily Meals

A daily meal is offered to the public on a walk up basis every day, 365 days a year.

We have been serving hot lunch and sweet tea since Thanksgiving Day 2016 every day on 103rd street. All volunteer community based. At 12:30 AM we break bread and fellowship. We do this in an open parking lot on 103rd Street Jacksonville, Florida; a poor drug and crime infested neighborhood in West Jacksonville.

Through these daily meals is how we usually make initial contact with the community. The word has gotten out into the community that, if you need help, clothes or just a meal for the day, Hands and Feet Foundation is there and all you got to do is walk up from the sidewalk into the covered area beside the parking lot and take a seat at the tables. The volunteers are trained to greet any newcomers and gently ask about any needs.

We also serve a hot meal since 2019 in Starke Florida in the open air on the side of Highway 301. We do this five days a week with a short Bible study also provided with the same concept with bringing Jesus to the least of these, free and often, as we create relationships with our neighbors.
